Asia/China optimized dedicated server in west coast of US?
I am looking for a Asia/China (China Telecom) optimized server in west coast of US.
Is there any dedicated server as good as old Quadranet "Asia optimized"?
- MultaCom is owned by Edge Centres, so I would definitely avoid (the Quadranet disaster).
- WebNX/Hivelocity/ReliableSite IG is always bad. (speedtest.net - Hivelocity/ReliableSite is OK though)
- Psychz chokes from time to time; and has some IP quality problems (my current IPs are bad to hyperscalers).
I only care for server ping/bandwidth to my ISP (China Telecom), and my ISP is no that bad (50-100+Mbps to all speedtest.net west coast nodes I measured). Yet I wasn't able to find a server with reasonable network (as good/stable as a speedtest.net node).

Have you tried AWS Lightsail? Seems like it would fit your requirements pretty well.
Interested to see what issues the others have had for you and what is considered OK.
Are you looking for a VPS or dedi?
I am pretty sure the issues at hand are not as related to the hosting providers itself but the China Telecom as a whole.
Optimization for China Telecom may be a huge sum of money.
The bandwidth price of AWS Lightsail is dreadful comparing to dedicated (which usually brings 10T-30T for free).
BTW I have a VPN service that uses us-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com, and I really wondering how it can make money at $10-15 monthly fee.
Dedi, I forgot to mention it.
I don't think China Telecom is all to blame -- every time my dedi chokes (packet loss, very high ping/ping drift, bandwidth drift), I did check speedtest.net or some other IG, and all/most of them were stable.
Then I would wonder why speedtest.net nodes are always good/stable. The hosting providers specifically optimized their nodes for advertising?
We are located in Phoenix, AZ. You can try our network page to see if our ping times work for you, which is here https://1gservers.com/network.html
If you’d like to give us a try we have dedicated server deals here:
https://1gservers.com/letthread
We also have cloud services if you need something smaller than a dedicated:

fiberstate LA has been extremely performant for our asian customers
Thanks for the mention. We have our LA location which would be the lowest latency location for any China bound network traffic, we've designed this network to be as low latency as possible from the West Coast USA and includes our Salt Lake City UT network that is directly connected to our LA PoP.
https://lax.lg.fiberstate.com/
We have the following networks in the LA blend:
China Telecom port should be added here within the next week or so.
Currently we offer the Ryzen 9 7950X dedicated package from Los Angeles. Salt Lake City also benefits from the same great network, the LA PoP is directly connected to SLC.
Configs can be found here:

The most famous China optimized provider is 搬瓦工 moving tile workers.
They are expensive but their bandwidth is highly optimized.
I'm not 100% sure what you're trying to do here, for best connectivity you want CN2 GIA, so both routes are via CN2 directly to the provincial level routes. It's expensive (especially for a dedicated server with high bandwidth), but it's better than any "optimised" claims without CN2. Direct connection is fine as long as the provider has enough bandwidth with CT and is not oversold, plus the aggregation layer within CT network needs to have capacity too.
As sunny said, BWG is the best in terms of network but it won't be cheap (it can't be cheap for quality networks).
Thanks. I'll check it.
Hello
Please check iWebFusion Aptum, LA location. We have many Chinese clients are using Aptum servers. https://www.iwebfusion.net/new-dedicatedcloseout.php
Whats your budget for this?
CN2/9929/CMIN2 is usually very expensive.
CeraNetworks (downstream @SpartanHost )
@DMITINC or @xTom, maybe they offer dedicated if you contact them
We've got some servers in San Francisco that should work, I'll DM you
ceranetworks is the only choice i think
If you need China Telecom cn2gia or other optimized routing lines to China, you can check here www.dotdotnetworks.com
