    If you are from Australia or close to that location the reason your ping will return from there and the server based in the USA is due to the built in CDN which acts just like Cloudflare serving your content from the edge servers.

    This can be changed in the control panel without a ticket, under the domains icon in the control panel, add the new domain, click make primary and then you can remove the old domain.
