HostBill to WHMCS & Virtualizor

Hey everyone,
I’m migrating from HostBill to WHMCS due to some issues and have a couple of questions about WHMCS and Virtualizor.
I’ve successfully imported users, VMs, storage, and everything into Virtualizor, and so far, it’s working fine in my testing. However, when creating plans, I don’t see an option to select a specific storage pool. I have two different storage pools, how can I create separate plans for each?
I tested the WHMCS import using ImportAssist, and it worked well. But my current VMs were originally set up under the Proxmox VE module in HostBill. I’d like to move these VMs to WHMCS under Virtualizor. While ImportAssist imports the services, how do I link an existing VM in Virtualizor to the correct client in WHMCS?
Would really appreciate any guidance!
Comments
Setup the module properly, then edit the services to the correct module and set VMID from virtualizor.
Voila!
What problem did you have with hostbill?
That worked for me!
Thank you!
Some issues related to invoicing, Domain modules and few other bugs, Even though the HostBill was installed using their script and manually as well.
For the storage pools, check if you can set them up in the plan configuration settings or consult the Virtualizor docs for specifics. As for linking those existing VMs, you might need to manually match them up in WHMCS after the import.
You should resolve issues with hb. Whmcs will make your life misserable.
Meh... not really. We're using HB.. used WHMCS a lot in the past.
There are some areas where HB simply can't do more and it frustrates you. But, I guess they try. Compared to WHMCS that doesn't simply give a shit on improvement.
But at least WHMCS is really, really optimized for a small provider's needs.
You. An do whatever you need with hb, because they accept custom dev requests. This is the biggest advantage in compare to whmcs.
True. But are you ok with paying XXX USD to be able to place a freaking button somewhere? Nah!
Can you give more information on this please?
I mean, I do see here alot of providers using WHMCS as well
Don't be fooled by what others use. If Hostbill fits your business and you're having problems, it's best to try to resolve them with them and see what you can do. If you think you can't find a solution, you can explore other options like whmcs.
Hostbill is excellent software.
