How to adjust write permissions in a HostBrr storage box: rsync and SSH

Turbo_PascalTurbo_Pascal Member
edited March 2025 in Help

Every time I try to upload a directory from my local Fedora workstation, rsync complains that the file system is read-only. The destination is a HostBrr storage box in Germany. I am trying to use it for the very first time to back up files.

Outside of rsync, I also cannot use SSH to create a new directory, again because it is a "read-only file system".

Any ideas?
