Hi,

I bought these servers less than two weeks ago while they were in stock, with some plans for them but I liked more the configurability of Layer7, so I am making these VPS available for transfer.

They are both the "Budget KVM" servers in Germany with 4 cores, 8 GB of RAM and 60 GB of storage.

VPS 1:

Registration date: March 6, 2025
Next due date: March 6, 2026
Billing cycle: Annually
Recurring amount: $45/year

Asking price: $38

VPS2:

Registration date: March 8, 2025
Next due date: March 8, 2026
Billing cycle: Annually
Recurring amount: $45/year

Asking price: $38

    I would check with their support first if these servers are eligible for transfer or not. Normally they have a rule that you should keep the server for a month on your account but better ask them to be sure.

    vitobotta back to buying servers and selling them within a week.
    I was pretty sure we are past that all self-hosting and you are freeeeeeeee of this addiction? ^.-

    On the bright side, it's pretty clear it wasn't purchased to scalp, as the price is actually a slight discount given the time left :)

    I'm having trouble with my internet connection from Finland to several places in Germany, Austria, France, and maybe other countries. My provider, Elisa, isn't being very helpful about it.

    I'm not sure exactly when these problems started, but the main issue is uploading data to those locations. Sometimes my upload speeds drop to really slow rates like 1 MB/sec, which causes problems for certain things I need to do. Downloading usually works fine and matches what I would expect from my Gigabit connection. When I test with servers in the Nordic countries, my connection reaches full Gigabit speeds in both directions.

    Unfortunately, since I live in a newly developed area, other internet providers don't offer connections that are as fast here yet, so I have to stay with Elisa for now.

    I really like Layer7 - their specs, performance and support are great for what they charge. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing the same connection issue with them that I mentioned above.
