Looking for Colocation in The Netherlands, Preferably in SkyLink Data Center
I'm looking for colocation in The Netherlands, preferably in SkyLink Data Center, but offers for other data centers are also welcome.
Requirements:
- Rack space: 2U
- Electricity: Server uses approximately 550 watts under full load, but this won't be sustained. A single power feed is sufficient. UPS is not required, as the hosted workload is non-critical.
- Traffic: 1 Gbit/s, paid per TB.
- IP addresses: At least 3 IPv4 addresses should be included, with an option to expand to 5 if needed. IPv6 is not required (sorry, @yoursunny )
- Extras: IPMI or KVM-over-IP is a plus.
Tagging some providers I know have hardware in SkyLink: @heartbeat_IT @HostSlick @RapToN
Thanks!

@RickBakkr also has a presence in SkyLink
We dont offer Colocation i am sorry.
Tube-hosting but last I heard it was getting pretty full
I dont have skylink. But i am likely to add another rack in amsterdam soon. Can you let me know your expected sustained power usage, rather than peak?
What are you looking for in terms of traffic pricing. You said paid per TB - how much do you want included by default and what are you looking for in terms of "overage".
Regards
I would recommend that you contact xsserver.gmbh.
Why would you want colo in that "facility"?
how these guys handle DMCA? i didn't find English version TOS or something there
More than half of their downstreams, or their downstreams downstreams, are bulletproof hosting companies. They won't give a FUCK about what you host, as long as it's not heckin hate speech.
really? that's great~
i am good citizen, of course i don't do hate speech or nazi sh!t, i don't even touch any copyrighted sh!t from US and EU. guess i'll be fine with them
I am racist.
I can give you some more accurate power usage numbers in a few weeks, I'm still waiting for the parts to arrive.
By default I need 5TB. I'm not sure what fair would be for overage; what do you suggest?
It's relatively close by, so I can easily drop off the server and stop by in case it needs maintenance.
All of my standard packages are either 25tb or 50tb on 1G or 10G by default. If you are aiming for anything lower, the savings would likely be insignificant. Let me know when you have an idea.
In case i don't react on the forums, ticket on MyRootPW would be the way to go.

Hey Freek,
We can offer the following in Databarn, Amsterdam:
€27.50 mrc + power cost. (For 550W it would be ~114 euro mrc on 0.29 per kWh added on top).
I was wondering however if you are sure the consumption is 550W? It sounds high for a regular 2u node, unless running GPU ofcourse or the likes.
Cheers,
We also use @BackboneDirect and i should say you should go With The offer @Freek
Very good prices and service.
Thanks for the mention! We have presence across many datacentres in The Netherlands, both in the north (Groningen), as well as down south (e.g. SkyLink). Some are more qualitative and more 'built out' than others. In all locations do we, however, use our own network.
If @Freek is still interested in taking this on, he knows how to reach me :-). Whatever happens: no strings attached, happy to try and advise in a market we've grown accustomed to.
Thanks for the offer. I have zero experience with server co-location (gotta start somewhere), so the extras such as rack & stack and OOB link look exactly what I need.
I will reach out to you (and @SGraf and @RickBakkr ) with more details on the power usage in a few weeks when all parts have arrived. The motherboard is still stuck in the US of A. It's currently in Carol Stream IL and delayed due to 'severe weather conditions in the mid-west' (?). It will be a dual-socket AMD EPYC 7742 config. The TDP of those CPUs is 225 watts each, hence the theoretical power usage of 550W under full load.
I am very much interested in taking this on. I picked up the chassis yesterday. This is happening, regardless how stupid of an idea it is.
