Can the DMCA be ignored? :)

Did you really ask a German provider if they ignore DMCA?

DMCA is the copyright law of the United States. Germany does not have to comply with it. Based on the above replies, I feel that Prepaid-Host ignores DMCA.

    Goodluck with that :D

Also certain providers who claim DMCA ignore aren't really ignoring it at all its usually a gimmick/marketing tactic and when they tend to get them they boot you out anyway :p

German providers does not have to comply with DMCA, but that doesn't matter as European companies just receive takedown requests based on EU Copyright legislation. Same thing, different name.

We take every abuse and DMCA takedown request seriously and will of course review it.

We are currently building a new dashboard, but unfortunately it will take some time... Many people use the translation function in the browser.

Our layer2 network is extended to the ntt fra2 site via vxlan bgp evpn, so we have a large virtualization environment.
Therefore the network is identical and you can use the Smokeping/LG from the maincubes. We are talking about a not big distance between the data centers.

Can it be used for DEPIN apps like grass, gradient?

Our VPS instances do not include dedicated GPUs, so using them for Gradient wouldn’t be practical. Additionally, any usage must comply with our Terms of Service.

  • radzy9radzy9 Member

it's network mining, doesn't require a GPU. I run multiple docker instances with chromium on each instance, which run the chrome extensions like Grass, Gradient. If it's possible to do this, let me know. Good offers

I don’t have direct experience with these types of projects, but in principle, it shouldn’t be a problem. However, it should be approached with caution, as we need to see how it develops in practice.

We have occasionally received requests for additional IPv4 addresses. Is there anyone else here who could use this?

Yes. ProHosting does. I thought you did because you are sister companies.

    Do you offer them?
