Error installing windows in netcup vps

Just bought a netcup vps but unable to install windows server 2019

Process seems simple.

Mount the iso in the DVD > Boot from DVD > Install the virtio driver > Finish the install.

But I get error about GPT partition. I changed the mode to UEFI but then error 0x80300001

Then I changed the drive from GPT to MBR and tried again. It complained about MBR parititon for EFI version. I turned off UEFI > again 0x80300001 error appeared.

Can anyone tell me the actual procedure or the mistakes I am making here?

Did you change it to EFI and then reinstall?

It turned out to something that I wasn't aware of.

When there is single DVD, you mount windows ISO > unmount windows ISO and mount windows driver > Unmount windows driver and remount windows iso.

In the 3rd step, you need to refresh. That did the trick! Otherwise all these errors pop up which actually does not point to anything. All these errors were misleading in the first place. Should have pop the error about windows missing files and then atleast I could have guessed about refreshing the drives.

The solution is something very basic but I missed all along. Facepalm on myself.
