Cheap servers for encoding needed
I have 3 cheap kimsufi KS-3 servers to handle video encoding, for about $63.89/month total - is there a better option for this price or is this pretty decent?
bandwidth, storage space, etc not important, the videos are sent, encoded and then removed from these conversion servers automatically - the only important part is the price, and more or less how fast they can get the encoding done

Do you have a benchmark we can run on some builds to compare to your current setup?
We might be able to get you something in Kansas for this. We would have to find the best CPU for your encoding workload as including a GPU is likely gonna increase price above your budget too much.
Would something like an E3 1245 v5, which comes with Intel Quick Sync iGPU work for you?
Can offer it for $45, includes 32GB RAM and 2 x 480GB SSDs.
Edit: just read it costs a total of $63, for that price nothing can beat it
You could try get the KS-LE-B for 9.99 each same server but with NVMe/HDD / 1245v5 / 32gb
Would half your cost if you manage to grab 3 @themago
Depends on your config and needs, you can get 2x or even 3x nodes from us: https://pulsedmedia.com/minidedi-dedicated-servers-finland.php
Delivering on Debian 12 now tho, automation is still not done.
But for larger quantity we can put some pace on the Ubuntu templating.
Since you are automating, these might be perfect fit for you if latency on each individual job doesn't matter much since you can just have a lot more nodes.
Current available stock;
this only seems possible by service transfer, it's impossible to get them from ovh/kimsufi I think
Yeah try your luck at service transfer, someone was selling 5 of them the other day
Brooo, that's the cheapest you can get for sure... like @allthemtings said, just try to get more of them. They are not front-facing servers, zero issues whatsoever... for you or OVH.
They are on the weaker side, and the bandwidth is capped, so as long as you get around 10 of them for the higher traffic sites, you have a decent fleet.
If pricing is important, maybe we can help you. Well we aren't OVH / Hetzner, but could work for you. We have cheap dedicated servers.
Check our dedicated servers:

Flexible and you can add more RAM or Disk Space.
All Dedicated Servers are delivered manually and their location is in Republic of Moldova.
