FAQ

Why didn't my order deploy?

If your order didn't automatically deploy, it means it was flagged by the system for manual review. We'll review it and get back to you, often times we will push it through unless it's hitting multiple indicators (eg, fraud).

What's this fraud thing?

If your order was blocked by our fraud checker, just open a ticket and inquire, our staff will look into it. We do not automatically review fraud-flagged orders, only when a ticket is created we will look into it.

I paid, why does it say it's not paid?

If you paid via Credit Card/Debit Card, and your order is not marked as paid but you see a transaction, that is simply a hold done by the payment processor -- we did not collect your money. Your bank will automatically release that hold, we can't expedite it -- this usually takes anywhere between 3 to 31 business days depending on who you bank with, the average seems to be 3 business days however. You can contact your bank for specifics on when a hold will get released. You should try your payment again, or another payment method (eg, PayPal or Crypto).

What's in the pipeline for Terabit?

We're working on a few things currently, as always here's our progression:

  • We're adding more IXs to our network, such as HOUIX and DE-CIX Dallas via extension in NKC. We're on the lookout for more IXs to add, let us know what you'd like to see!
  • We're connecting to ERA-IX (Amsterdam)!
  • We're adding an additional 100Gbps to our network (Feb 15th) in the US-EAST region.
  • We're adding an additional 100Gbps to our network (Feb 15th) in the CA-WEST (Vancouver) region.
  • Amsterdam has expanded! New EPYC and Ryzen nodes delivered. Ryzen setup is ongoing for Ryzen-powered Game Server hosted (Feb 13th arrival, deployment ETA TBD)
  • Auckland pricing finalized. Auckland will be Premium Only transit, instead of having two networks. Hardware procurement in progress.
  • Auckland consumer pricing for VPS and Basically Dedicated will be almost identical to US pricing -- expect +$4-16/mo for Auckland depending on the service.
  • We have begun the deployment of 3 Shared Hosting servers: 1 in Canada, 1 in US, 1 in Europe. We will deploy one in Auckland once the POP is live as well. No ETA for finalization, but keep an eye out for some smashing annual-only plans! (Delayed from last week due to network priorities. Back on our list this week!)
  • We've got more in the pipeline, but this is all I can share for now! (Check us out next week!)

Long Live The Rats.

Vancouver is network only or hosting as well?

Vancouver is network only. If you need our network in Vancouver, we can terminate traffic over a GRE, but we have no plans, at this time, to re-stock Vancouver for server deployments.

We include 40TB on the Basically Dedicated, we'll up it to 80TB, after that if you need more we evaluate it on a case-by-case basis, generally speaking we'll just give you a bit extra up until 100TB, after which is our soft-fair use cap on these, and we'd discuss the cost of additional bandwidth.

  • Is the discount one time only?

  • I am more interested in the Asia-Pacific region. When will it be available for order?

Thanks for the reply, that's very helpful. In other words, for Basically Dedicated servers, non-abuse within 100T is possible, it just needs to be discussed on a case-by-case basis through customer service, am I understanding this correctly?

Because I want to buy some to build my own private CDN network to distribute some traffic to my customers.

PS: Is this traffic limit also true for advanced networks?

This discount is, we do have a recurring discount available but it's slightly higher. We're working on some annual recurring discounts as well, feel free to open a chat or ticket to discuss!

You are correct, non-abusive traffic we on a case-by-case basis will raise you to 100T without much asking. Anything over, we'll discuss case-by-case in a ticket. Our Premium Network transit limits are generally lower, we'll allow you to go up to 65TB before we discuss cost of additional traffic -- that is just because our cost is much higher there than it is on our standard network.
