Looking for VPS in Europe for torrent downloading

I'm looking for a VPS located in Europe or is closest to Cyprus. Windows would be nice but not compulsory I can just use Ubuntu Desktop since it's free license.
Purpose: To install Ubuntu Desktop, download torrents and upload them to rapidgator

Specs:
4 Cores
4GB RAM
50GB SSD
2TB Bandwidth
1Gbps
Europe
Not blocked by rapidgator (low chance but there are some rare hosts that are blocked)
$30/yr

  • Are you going to seed public torrents? Or are you only using private trackers?

Will be seeding public torrents but I won't be leaving it overnight since I'll have the bandwidth usage set to low cause I'm not buying unmetered

  • You use wrong method to test.
traceroute using ICMP, while common browser(http/https) using TCP (default for http port 80 and https port 443)
I test traceroute from hostshield, dartnode, shockhosting & chunkserve all borked,
but using tcptraceroute rapidgator.net 443 all got syn ack response.
DM me if you need proxy access to some of my vps to test it.

From what I see, maybe rapidgator is blocking ICMP requests from datacenter ranges? The last "visible hop" when doing traceroute from us is 5.254.48.26, but rapidgator.net is working with us (tried ie. sending tcp probe to 443, everything up)

  • people still use rapidgator? I have seen that thing since my school days.

And people still download from Rapidgator enough that earns commission for uploaders?

I am asking this because I thought file hosting lost popularity after Rapidshare, File serve, File Sonic, mega upload.... all closed down.

Yep - there's a whole entire forum dedicated to video and file hosts that pay, and seems like its very popular still.

Most hosting providers don't care if you seed or download torrents but only for personal use , although if you want DMCA ignored take a look at zomro.com or aeza.net plans
