Finding Email Solution for personal

  • I can vouch for NameCrane,
I'm surprised nobody raised mxroute yet, I've only ever seen good reviews but I haven't gotten around to trying their email services.

  • I personally use Proton Mail for personal emails

  • I can't think of a better choice than Larksuite. Of course this choice is like Yandex once was, almost every post I read about it has a political aspect to it, haha, you know.

When you signed up (on December 25th), you were referred to the rules, so no excuse, I'm afraid

  • Zoho is probably the most reliable free email solution - they offer 5 accounts with 5GB storage for free.

iCloud is another cheap option. You do get custom domain support on any paid plans

If you need small storage and just need reliable email you could check MXRoute. MXRoute is rock solid.

If you need larger storage then NameCrane has better prices and good deliverability.

  • I have been very happy with inbox.eu so far. Cheap, a lot of storage (just 9.99/user per year for a whopping 100GB) and works great. No problems whatsoever so far. They have their own nice control panel and webmail if you use that. The only thing is that they don't support contacts or calendars, can't remember which it was. So for those I use Nextcloud. But as email hosting service it's pretty good.

    Still on Hetzner with Nextcloud?

  • wait for the promotions of mxroute this year

I migrated Nextcloud yesterday from Storage Share to a VPS. The Storage Share is great but I cannot configure cronjobs like the periodical generation of previews.

  • @hyperblast said: spacemail looks interesting. do they support native emailprotocols like pop3 and smtp?

There was a thread a while back about Spacemail punishing customers who receive too much spam. Has anyone followed up on this?

This is something new for me..

Could you please point me to that thread? Interested in reading more about this.

    Thanks.

    Spacemail :)

Sometimes I'm surprised by how ineffective is the search function on this forum. This is one of those times.

I think the upshot was to use Spaceship for registration only. Sometimes the hosting products, including Spacemail, are laughably bad.

    Spacemail by spaceship

Anyone tried this? will I get a @spaceship.com mail?

I was careful to vote only for this feature request at Spaceship (to prevent other feature requests from crowding it out).

  • was looking fot tuta.com references in the thread, not sure if it is "full solutions" or not.

The site search sucks, it's completely useless. Use google.

  • So which is the final choice?

  • @rcy026 said: Use google

    Good call.

@Gulf said: Relying on Namecheap/ Spaceship for anything more than domain registration is a bad idea.

  • Isn't crossbox in mxroute full solution or its missing something ?
