Routing looks great, offers look great! Question on those AMD VPS's and the AuP:

CPU Consumption: All KVM VPS plans include shared CPU cores. All of our customers are able to utilize 100% of their allocated CPU for short periods of time to run backups, compile software, run benchmarks, etc. Average CPU use for a VPS customer should be no more than 25%. Using more than 25% of your allocated CPU for a period longer than 1 hour is prohibited and is grounds for suspension or termination.

-- Is that 25% aggregate of all cores ... or as in Linux-tools metrics as 25% of a single core?

e.g, can we average 2-cores per hour on an 8-core (16GB) plan? Or is this limited to 25% of 1-core?

Gotta ask first, since the 25% rule (of a single core) is pretty common practice from what I've seen across providers.

It looks at overall utilization of the VM, so across all cores allocated to the VM.

TX is down,How many times this year has this happened?

  • My Arizona VPS has been online with no outages. I actually left RDP on it for a month straight now and the RDP session is still active. I'm not sure about Texas, although I have read about frequent downtimes in that location. Bad datacenter @lnx ?

Hello everyone, you should have received this e-mail, but there will be a maintenance windows for Texas on Sunday May 25th. You can read the updates here: https://updates.linveo.com/texas-scheduled-maintenance-notification-may-25th-2025
