Contabo down again
It's been seven hours now, and my VPS and storage on Contabo are still down. The only response from their support is: "We'll let you know when the issue is resolved." Clearly, this is a data center issue that they refuse to acknowledge on their service status page—which is not just unprofessional but also unethical.
Contabo doesn’t seem like a serious option for business needs. At best, it might work for hobbyists, but even then, why settle for unreliable service when you can get better hosting for the same price elsewhere?
I'm just waiting for my server to come back online so I can migrate away ASAP.
By the way, is anyone else experiencing downtime right now? It’s frustrating that the only way to get updates is by chasing support, while the provider remains silent and evasive.

Contabo sucks. Used for a week and decided after to switch off.
Which DC you are in? My several servers in Contabo US-west are still up and running. Their Germany DC seems pretty notorious though.
I know their support is terrible. But hell for 4 Euro per month I cannot find any other better provider that has 6GB RAM and 600 GB+ storage in the US...

No downtime here, fortunately.
DE datacenter, no issues in the past 4–5 years except that last big downtime they had a couple of months ago.

It was probably Singapore. Singapore hypervisor(s) were down earlier around the time he posted.

If it's urgent, some user here suggests using the rescue option, then connecting through SSH.

Horrible experience with Contabo VPS in Dusseldorf again the last two days and their status page reports a router issue.
What is more, they have downgraded and renamed their VPS plans. The entry VPS 4C for 4.50 has just 4 cores and 4 GB RAM now.
Maybe it'll work better that way (less overselling, more real resources for customers, enough money to pay the bills...).
