@FAT32 can you yabs your KS-A or is it being used for prod
i reckon that would make me pretty happy
currently yabsing my solidseo dedi to make myself happy

I seriously think my obsession on deals might be because I am lacking of something else in life and trying to find other things to fill in. It is running something but sure I can run YABS on it.

Thinking back 15+ years ago when I am still studying and poor I connect and experiment much more on my 128MB RAM OpenVZ VPS than all my VPS/Dedi combined today. I don't have the mental energy to do all those fun stuff anymore...

Playing around with a VPS/dedi can be considered a form of comfort for the soul...🤧

You don't use Hamachi? :joy: Those were good times...

Started with Hamachi when just friends were using it but then I opened it up as a public server on a Vultr VM, it got surprisingly popular pretty quickly because it was one of the only public WoW private servers in AUS at the time so Blizzard caught on pretty quickly

    Hamachi was great.

Somewhat off-topic, but I remember creating YouTube tutorials over 10 years ago for Minecraft. One of which was on how to create a Minecraft server "without port forwarding" and without using Hamachi

The 'technique' was simply using uTorrent with a set port, which triggered UPnP to open the port.

Of coruse, back then, I knew fuck all about networking, so I didn't know why it worked (only found out years later). Though somehow this technique seemed to work quite well for others too (based on the views and likes).

This reminds me of a first local wireless internet provider. There worked this chill sysadmin who played Counter strike with us. Basically whichever game we imagine, he would make a server for it so we can play. The problem was when blizzard caught a private one. He had to shut down them all.

Maybe I should do a campaign like in the next 15 minutes I will buy the first VPS/Dedi deal posted in this thread that's < $10/billingcycle regardless of specs or locations (and most likely I will idle super hard)

Let's call it the "FLASH BUY" campaign (or "FREE $10 FROM FAT32" campaign)

Took a while to get my t-shirt, first t-shirt just ended up lost in transit. Second one arrived though after enough nagging.

Anyway, yeah. It's a perfect idler.

If you're thinking about the disk tests, they're probably nerfed a bit since I'm running them in software RAID1. Only 2 NVMes in there (not sure I could add 2 more).
