How are you fine people today? Hope everyone had a great weekend so far.

My weekend has been superb. Met some great people, both offline and online. Somehow I now own a henhouse and some chicken.

The Lab needs to adjust a bit to the change of situation but the kid is loving it.

    I love having animals around.

Still have a 21 year old cat living with us, can't wait to see how she reacts to the chicks in the morning. She's the dominant one though. On top of the pecking order.

Really doesn't give a fuck and has no issue chasing away my dog when he's occupying her favourite chair.

Yet, every night they cuddle up together on the couch. It's a lovely sight to see.

Then I was watching the birds this morning... Such a lovely sight and sound while you awaken. Then they shat all over my car.

Wow. Would love to see the hen house with the chicks and pets

Coming soon maybe :) it's not that special. I live in an urban area and can't afford much space. Half a Million buys you a small house on a tiny stamp of land.

If you can call it land even :)

I enjoy it though. The neighborhood, people surrounding me. Blessed enough to own my own place.

I hear ya. Urban living is not as luxurious in terms of space. But provides access to amenities easily. Tradeoffs..

I got a lorikeet parrot for my twins around 6 weeks ago, we named it Paulie after the movie. Unfortunately, it died last week, such a tragedy. He had gotten so friendly with the kids. Even the vet cudn't figure out wt happened to him and just suspected the cold got him :s weird diagnosis. I told the kids he flew away, so now they keep looking out the car window, searching for him when we go out, its sad. At 4.5 years old I think they r kinda too young to be taught about death. Keeping pets I guess is not a very easy job...

Yep - I get one of these each year where they tell me that about 60% of my taxes each year was used to pay for cunts without jobs all the meanwhile they rejected any claim I ever made for welfare when jobless years ago

Definitely. Primary school, couple of minutes by bike. Small shopping centre. One block away. Playground... 1 sec away :)

When the kid is older, I envision myself going north. Sweden, Denmark, a bit off te grid :)

Damn. That's bad. Sorry you went through that phase of joblessness and got no support from your government. Goodness knows how/ what they define welfare as...

Atleast you have something to go off with. For us, its a black hole. Literally no visibility at local level.
Plus we got to file our damn taxes usually via a cpa/ ca / accountant. Irs holds, for majority users having a paid job their earnings and deductions. But still choose to make life hell...

    Sorry for the rant.

Oops. Sorry to hear that bruddah. It is definitely a tragedy when you bond with the pet.

I have always fancied to be an urban person. I enjoy the hustle bustle and the fact everything is practically walkable.

But life has different things planned out. Now in a semi urban place but, without a car, it's a dead end.

Even coming to the closest park is a good 20 min walk. But there are many of these open spaces available to unwind.

lmfao, for some reason I thought you meant your homelab, then it's fair enough.
You'd have quadruple the shitshow with running Linux for all of those people. I bet you're struggling enough with a handful of Macs in the picture.

Ow, that's unfortunate. I had birds when I was a kid. Really liked it. Always had animals around. I also have an aquarium. Nothing special but the kid is heartbroken when one of the fishes passes. And I'm talking guppies so nothing that special :)

My dog is a senior now, she's gonna be heartbroken if he ever passes. So will I tbh.

4.5... sigh... That's a lovely age. They learn so much at such a rapid pace. Cherish it though, they grow up quickly. Mine is 7 now but I still recall her fitting on my arm.

Now she's playing Roblox on Sundays when she's allowed, laser focused, and we don't fit that well in the bathtub together anymore

Windows has come a loooooong way. I loathe the crap they put. Still for majority users, it does whay it's supposed to do. Plus they stable much better.

With Linux, good luck getting imaged and deployed on systems and expect it to work out of the box.

I mean, once set it would run good but the initial push itself is a challenge.

Macs are glorified Linux systems IMHO. They just end up creating this class war amongst peers. Plus it now feels much bloated compared to previous releases (in terms of os)...

    all good now, hopefully.

    funds sent to:
@fitkoh - hopefully this makes him realize how important of a contributor he is to lowendtalk, especially due to posts in that thread about the verasel crap being illegal. we had a really long and good chat and this human being, even though he isn't an IT Professional or anything, he's legitimately one of the most intelligent people I've met. he could easily run any hosting support department. not just efficiently, but also with common sense without resorting to profanities or being rude, etc. really good guy !!! hope it makes some difference.

@subb - he's one of the winners I think, he also received a bit more than what was the plan. congrats and hope it helps!!!

@fazar - he's one of the winners as well I think, sent a bit more for the delay etc. congrats and hope it helps!

@raza19 - I sent him crypto to paypal order via hi.exchange so his isn't yet processed, as it takes a while, but their minimum is quite high (which I have forgotten about) so he's going to receive a bit less than $100 after paypal cuts off 4% to 6% for goods and services since they only do it as goods and services, but they sadly aren't that fast sometimes, so you have to bug them on live chat with track id (which I adised Raza) and told him to say its a family urgency, and they should process it ASAP :)))

@R4ain - I sent him a bit more due to the long wait, hope it helps :)))

@jet3918 - I sent him a bit more as well, hope it helps!!!

MS - I sent him some XMR for his posts!!! hope he knows his value here!

@BlazinDimes - also sent a bit more due to the long wait ))

@admax - sent him, but I think hes the first person I sent to ))

im going to now check who else is left lol because there are people who have not yet contacted me yet!

so please if you have not

contact me ASAP. ill make u whole ASAP.
