Good offer!
I mean, I'm never going to be running production in Nocix (but plenty others seem happy to). But that is one fucking great deal and I applaud you for challenging yourself to make it.
What's wrong with NOCIX/Swift? Not hijacking, but I think it relates
I don't want to derail the thread that direction, I'm sorry I brought it up. But I did reply to that here: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4288535/#Comment_4288535
Was wondering the same. Zero issues with nocix so far. Been renting servers on and off over the years, shit works fine.
Budget host, obviously, but not bad either.
Yes, to bring it back on thread. Also have a rack at Nocix. Latency is not great from EU but that is to be expected.
Heymman Servers, I think the offer is amazing and the Datacenter had no problems so far.
So these are 24 Dual EPYC servers?
Any lower spec'd servers in stock?
There's 4 nodes in the chassis sharing the 24 front hot-swap drive bays. We use in priority the dual PCI-E slots and dual M.2 slots.
We resold dedicated servers from close to 200 different providers between 2017 and 2019. We also did colocation with close to 10 different providers throughout our lifetime. I cannot speak to the level of support NOCIX provides to their $15 dedicated server clients, but the level of support we receive as a colocation customer and the overall uptime ranks somewhere on the top of this long list of providers. The network blend isn't stellar though, so you have to see if the latency works for you.
Thanks for the clarification. Still awesome anyway.
