Be aware of NatVPS
I had an issue that my VPSes were completely offline for over 3 months (!). I had raised this to NatVPS and they said (basically) "ok, hold on, because we're transitioning to KVM)." I looked at this and thought: ok, not good service but at least they're being honest. I asked " will I be compensated for the fact that I've paid for 12 months and only gotten 8-9 months of service" and they answered "open a ticket when your service transitions to KVM."
That alone is terrible, but it gets worse.
I later had a VM that I opened a ticket about whether the transition would go to KVM in the same region or not and they took that to immediately delete my server and transition it.
When I later asked about compensation for lost time, they just said "look at the TOS" and blocked future updates to the ticket. They also deleted their previous response to me that I would be compensated for 3+ months of lost availability/usage.
Just be aware that NatVPS is a completely shady provider

waiting for ticket number and screenshots
Here's an email where they acknowledgeded services were offline for months and then told me they'd compensate for lost time: http://connelly.casa/compensation.pdf
And then where they said "too bad, you signed up for a NAT service so just look at the TOS": after I asked them "where will you transition my VM to"? The history there is that they apparently needed to migrate existing VMS to KVM but it would result in complete VM deletion. When I asked about details, they migrated and deleted all my VM data and then deleted the entire log from the previous ticket mentioned above. The ticket log is here: http://connelly.casa/awful-service.pdf
"Can that satisfy your ego" is a weird response. I hope it's some mistranslation?
@eski do you have any screenshot about VPS being offline for 3 months?
I (Ayyub), am still in shock that you decided to open such a post after how I treated your case!
Clarification: op is correct with regard to downtime being long (preparation of Singapore KVM NAT nodes took time) and he is correct with regard to ticket #484161 that I misread it and mistakenly procced with migration routine (termination of old ovz service and recreation of kvm service) [although apologized twice in that ticket].
The client a bit after closing #484161 by me, opened another ticket (#537734), which I post here for everyone too see and judge;
During the months I waited, my SG NAT VPS, which was hosted on an OpenVZ server, was unavailable for some time (it was down for quite a while). However, considering it costs only $3.99 a year, I didn’t demand SLA guarantees (at such a low price, the profit margin is very small). It’s possible that some other users’ VPS on the OpenVZ host might have been functional before the migration. When SG NAT KVM became available, I thought it was finally ready to use. After the migration, the available time was reduced by several months, which was probably assumed by the NATVPS team to be part of the normal service usage period. (This is my recollection of waiting for the migration and using NATVPS.) Of course, anyone who purchased it might have been more or less affected by the migration...
So there you go. Acceptance/acknowledgement of absolutely awful service from natvps
Ayyub closed (and locked so that I couldn't respond) my other ticket and said "too bad" (I can provide screenshots of how absolutely disrespectful he/she was in that) and then denied that there was no reason to provide any extension to the services. It required opening a separate ticket because he/she had locked the other one, and then arguing where he/she said (basically) oh, that response must have been done via email instead of through our web system, so it's not valid
Absolutely terrible service and -- I don't think I've ever said this: I hope Ayyub is "gotten rid of"
Those who were recently moved, check your disk quota and compare it to the plan you actually paid for.
umm. We started migrating Singapore location services on 21st January, today is 24th.
Service date extension will be done after we complete migrating all clients, allow it some time.
@eski I can't see where you were denied extension, we told you multiple times that service will be extended in coming days. But you kept accusing us and now this post here ? makes no sense.
US & EU services were migrated, and other users will be able to confirm their service dates were also extended.
(and anyone else reading this & has a service with us..)
Just be patient, it takes time to extend renewal dates for 1000+ services manually.
We're extending everyone's renewals to make up for it, but it's a manual process and takes time.
Oh boy. OK. This is absolutely complete BS @Abd . The services here have been completely unprofessional. I have to put our kids to bed in the next couple hours, but I'll post a complete log of every completely irresponsible thing webhorizon has done in a couple hours
@eski
We've refunded all your payments in the past 12 months (i.e. $7) and will be ending all your natvps services on January 31st. Please ensure you've moved your data elsewhere before this date.
I understand your frustration, but based on your interactions, we believe it's best to part ways.
I wish you the best in finding a new provider.
So just FYI for others: in retaliation for me posting this thread, WebHorizon has just now canceled all my services (including unrelated ones) and decided to delete all of my VPSes and data
Never buying from them. Wow.
A simple question, but why do people say in tickets, "I'll post this on the forum"? To me, if you're planning to leave the provider, it seems more reasonable to just post on the forum without saying anything.
Seriously ?
You're right. That was a mistake: I should have posted without letting them know
Try threatening anyone (directly or indirectly) and then get surprised after being let go, with all monies paid initially.
Good going to op, bad luck to providers to deal with them.
Webhorizon has been nothing but garbage to begin with, what more could you want here? Lol
how much is this server? pls dont me it is 3$ or something per year
$7 for a NAT VPS
WOW like losing thousands of dollars
Even though you're canceling all my services, this is only about 40% of what I've paid for. I plan of issuing a CC charge back for the remainder if you follow through with cancellation
Based on this thread (https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/182681/amd-ryzen-5950x-vps-50-bonus-email-web-hosting-nat-vps-webhorizon/p1), I think it was a $4.20/year NAT VPS.
How come? What is garbage about them?
I'm not saying I've lost a ton of money on this, but if you show up at a fast food place, pay $7, and then you wait 3 months and they say "sorry, we can't give you a burger you paid for" it'd be a pretty awful experience
We're waiting for the logs ...
Will post everything in 1h
Did they delete your servers and data or did they cancel your contract and given you until the 31st to migrate your data?
Those 2 are very very different from each other.
