MukulWMukulW Member, Host Rep

Hi LET People,

Can you recommend any good parcel forwarder service?
Need to ship something from United States to India.

Thanks

I personally use Stackry.com. Here's the afflink for $10 off on both of our next shipments. https://app.stackry.com/register?referral=7681925

I used Meest to send a package to Poland recently. Not sure how they perform in shipping to India, but my transaction went smoothly.

They were recommended to me by fellow volunteers at ENGin.

That's what a parcel forwarding service do, they give you an unit(something like a unique number to identify your parcels) in your name where you send your orders.

    nice!
are there any restrictions? e.g. if i want to order scopes (nothing illegal!) from the usa. what about tax/customs clearance? does such a service also take care of that?

are you talking sending out or receiving in to the forwarder?

for shipping out, they'll fill out shipment declaration & invoice based on your information. clearance will be done by carrier & receiving end.

restrictions are usually in place for lithium batteries/similar

i used shipito since ages ago, still working well especially shipping phones!

I had a friend who knew a guy from Canada long ago, we sent the poor guy to the Canadian post office to forward stuff to us in feudal Italy. 40€ for two kilos.

(sorry for offtopic) Wow I love the idea of that site! Do you have to be a native english speaker to volunteer? I didn't find it on the site.

You do not have to be a native speaker, according to their FAQ.

I've been volunteering for about 18 months and it's been a great experience. If you email them I'm sure they'd be happy to explain more.

I wouldn’t go as far as to call it "good", but I’ve used comGateway a few times in the past.

I used shopandship.com to get stuff from US to UAE.
Pretty solid service. Haven't used them recently though.

  • I have tried planetexpress from US to pakistan and it worked very well in the past .

Yeah, I use https://www.mailboxde.com/ for stuff that those damn Germans at Computeruniverse and Mindfactory don't want to send to my place :p

  • I recently used forward2me and I paid nothing just the shipping.

Second Planet Express, worked fine for me when forwarding to Canada before I found a better solution.

Narendra Modi going to USA to meet Trump, you may ask him to bring back.

Just careful about custom related things whatever services you choose to ship.
