VPS provider on the East coast US?

relatedrelated Member
edited January 19 in General

I need a VPS provider that offers KVM (OpenVZ will not work) on the East coast (somewhere close probably works too), at least 1Gbps. Do you guys have any suggestions for reliable options? Thanks.

OH works, but their offers may be a bit overkill for me. I need the lowest end, as long as it's KVM. Do you think it'd be possible to find one for $25-$35/year?

+1 on @lnx if you don't mind Ohio

@advinservers (Miami - but out of stock at the moment)

@crunchbits / Incognet have locations in Pennsylvania

@HostEONS in Miami (one of my most stable server locations - 99.9999% uptime for the year)

    @speedypage (Ashburn, VA)

I'm certain there are more out there - but personal experience, I can vouch for these folks without thinking twice.

Linveo Ohio was really good .. had a plan for 1yr , would recommend Ohio only

  • i had a linveo vps in texas and lnx moved it to ohio at my request because it's closer for me (germany). that was the best decision! ohio is premium for me.

@Clouvider has Ashburn, VA and NY, NY. 10GBPS @5TB (I use Clouvider for most of my stuff and Netcup)
@RoyaleHosting has NY, NY 1GBPS up to 10GBPS depending on payment @25TB
AWS lightsail has N. Virginia and Ohio.
@Hetzner_OL has Ashburn, VA but kneecapped the bandwidth on black friday so 10GBPS @1TB
Netcup has Ashburn, VA with very good bandwidth allowance - pretty much unmetered. 2.5GBPS -- they are banned on here apparently but theyre a really good provider, super reliable.

They are great options and have great networks.

    Thanked by 1Clouvider

    4V cores
    100GB NVME (Raid 10 U.3 enterprise drives)
    10Tb on 2Gbps
    NYC.
    $45/year works out to 3.75 a month.

incognet's PA upstream is crunchbits. incognet /crunchbits are in breiningsville, pa in tierpoint and crunchbits has other infrastructure in valleyforge, pa / norristown, pa in tierpoint.

is this supposed to be a secret because I always see bad/wrong info on here and from their routing this is what's occurring.
