Problem with Proofpoint spam list

Hello
One of our IPs is on the Proofpoint spam list, and we have been trying to file a removal request for about a month now, but we have not received a response so far.
Has anyone here had this problem? Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you

    Spam lists are overrated.
Leading providers are no longer using them
Therefore, you can ignore the spam lists.

Fake news. Be on Proofpoint and get fucked by iCloud.

    iCloud

    iCloud is too expensive.
    Use OnePoundEmail instead.

So deliverability to other providers than OnePoundEmail isn’t needed?

That explains why you don’t find spamlists an issue

Due to being listed on this spam list, we are having trouble sending emails.

Exactly. iCloud and several other mail servers use Proofpoint to control spam.

Have everyone sign up at the same email provider.
External customers will receive US mail instead.

Ha! Literally dealing with this again right now. Gave up a servarica server recently because they couldn’t get it removed so I can’t send email to iCloud. Same reason why I cancelled my serverpoint server and nocix.

Just replied to a ticket to massivegrid where they confirmed they sent in a request and they said:

Thank you for the information provided. We are partnering with Proofpoint at this time, but we opened a support request regarding this IP. However, the delivery of emails should not be hindered by that particular blacklist. The most common issue is that you have not created all the DNS records for your email server. Gmail and iCloud require the senders to have all the possible DNS records to adhere to their delivery systems. Kindly read the following article: https://support.google.com/a/answer/81126?hl=en#zippy=,requirements-for-all-senders

I replied something along the lines of “I’ve done this identical set up and it’s only when I get a proofpoint blocked IP is when nothing can be done and they never remove the block but if it’s spamhaus or rats then they are removed same day usually”

But read this, look at the top comment some guy might have a knack for getting them removed, might be worth messaging them https://www.reddit.com/r/proofpoint/comments/1dy3o53/help_to_deal_with_proofpoint_block_of_ip/

    And massive grids latest reply:

Thank you for the information provided. As stated we have opened a request for support with Proofpoint. However, no other client has ever faced a similar issue. We can provide information from our experience, as stated in our previous reply. In order to assist you kindly provide us a screenshot of the aforementioned error, after you have performed all the suggested actions for the configuration of DNS and rDNS.

    We remain at your disposal.

    Best Regards,

    Alexandros Kapasakalis

    Edit further reply

I apologize for the confusion in my last reply, this is my mistake. We are NOT partners with Proofpoint. We have submitted a support request from their website. This is my mistake for the misunderstanding.

However, as mentioned we do not have any association with Proofpoint and have never faced an issue with them. Kindly attempt to perform the configurations for DNS and rDNS.

(I’m not wasting my time setting it all up again I’ve already set it up elsewhere now)

    Good points.

So far, it seems that no one has been able to effectively communicate with Proofpoint.

Reach out to them on their X profile. I had the same issue with a client, and they responded and removed the block on the next day after weeks of trying through their delist form.
