I usually get only VPS, but now I really consider getting this server!

  • Any chance of getting a Xeon E5-2660 v2 or v3?

    Order #236747

I tried earlier to place an order, but the server apparently was out of stock at that time. Now, on my second try, it looks like I was able to complete an order.

    Thanks Nocix!

Edit to add: Just received an email from Paypal confirming payment. Thanks!

  • The network port is 1Gbit or 10Gbit?

  • do you accept crypto payment?
do you accept Adult content ?
    thanks

  • Hello @AaronW
This is a 10G port with 1Gbps unmetered? Or is it a 1Gbps port too .... Please clarify.

I am in. Server works great on IPv4! Looks like I need to ticket for IPv6? Will post yabs tomorrow since I am on my phone now. Thanks again, Nocix!

Not sure about DB stability, but I can comment on the response time part. They are almost the fastest response provider that I've used so far.

Just want to give a shout out to NOCIX.

We colo with them in KC and their datacenter staff is incredibly quick to respond. Whether it be a general inquiry or something needing remote hands tasks, they've left us beyond impressed.

Recently we had a large job (for us) where we basically reconfigured everything in our rack, including the shipment of a bunch of random odds and ins that all arrived over the course of 7 or 8 days and needing everything in the rack re-cabled. We hired a contractor to do most of the remote work and had them communicate (as us) via the helpdesk with NOCIX. They were incredibly impressed too, considering there are facilities where they pay 4 or 5X the cost for the same service and are lucky to get a response in a day or two for basic stuff.

    Anyway, 10/10.

@AaronW has a good operation it seems.

Whats this new in-house DDoS mitigation? Is it something you may consider selling as a service to colo customers?

This is yabs run this morning on the server as delivered last night. The only thing I did on the server was install ed, tmux, iperf3, and fio.

What's great about the send speeds is that some of them exceed the advertised 1 Gbps. So Nocix delivered better than what was promised!

It's Path. They are available to colo customers. We do have our own system for mitigating large volumetric attacks that is not just null routing. You can request your IPs to be included in that system at no charge.

It doesn't work that way. The systems are already built and in the rack. The provisioning system deploys them randomly. When I checked earlier this morning there were no v2's unallocated. There was a handful of 2660s and about twice that many 2670s. All v0.

I realise it is all auto provisioned, was more so the fact everyone so far commenting has only gotten v0, myself included. but the fact all v2's are already allocated would explain it hah.

I realise it is all auto provisioned, was more so the fact everyone so far commenting has only gotten v0, myself included. but the fact all v2's are already allocated would explain it hah.

There are just a handful of v2s under that service ID anyway. Out of a little over 300 active servers in that service plan there are under 10 v2s. What's left right now unallocated are 11 2660v0 and 27 2670v0s.

Most of our 2660v2 are allocated to service 376 which is a Dual 2660v2 with 256GB RAM and 2x 4TB SSDs for $120. Believe it or not this is a really popular config.
