Most Storage VPS I can get for $75/year
I already made a thread asking for the cheapest storage server option. I ended up trying DediRock based on the comments ($26/year for 2TB), but I'm thinking of refunding it (I'm within the 7-day refund policy) because transfer speeds only max out at around 60 Mbps from where I live, which is kind of sad. So, I'm willing to pay more now. What's the absolute most storage I can get for $75/year or under that is bang for my buck and is located in Los Angeles/Seattle or anywhere within 2,500 km from Vancouver, British Columbia?

If you want Canada, although the complete opposite side from you I guess. @servarica_hani

Polar Bear Storage - 2TB for $48/y
If you can stretch to $84/y, then Killer Whale Storage - 3.5TB
Thanks, but as you said, their servers are quite far from me (4,559 km away). The DediRock server I'm currently using is 3,905 km away and costs $26/year instead of $48/year for 2tb too so there's that.
Off topic but op ur profile pic has the same effect that dustinc’s does (he looks like the weeknd till u zoom in) and yours looks like some fit girls ass facing the camera

Crunchbits
2TB Storage VPS
1 vCPU
2GB RAM
14GB SSD + 2TB HDD
6TB Bandwidth
1x IPv4, /64 IPv6
1Gbps Port
Spokane, WA-USA
$6 / month or ~$68 / year
Afaik, We have direct peering with Telus and Shaw over SIX Seattle.
DM to order.
Thats tempting but its the same storage capacity as my $27/year dedirock server with 1c2gb and 4000tb bw.
I will think about it considering its a crunchbits server though, thank you.
for the fastest transfer speeds it has to be in same country/city
That’s why I’m wondering if it’s worth $68/year for a Crunchbits storage VPS when I have the same specs for $27/year. 😭 If it had more storage, I would have bought it, but since it doesn’t, I’m hesitant about whether it’s worth paying extra just for better transfer speeds.
The direct peering with telus and shaw is so tempting but idk man
you are trying to beat a BF deal in January, its tough. also i dont recall dedirock is RAID10 cached or having high IOPS. when transferring files do check IOWait and see if thats a bottleneck (60mbps is kinda low)
next is choose your poison, price or speed.

Yea, I get it. Without offers we're bit more on the premium side. You sadly missed the limited time BF promo which we did have, 2TB was available for 29/y.
i got that shhhhh
$29/year for a 2tb crunchbits server makes me so sad that i missed that
Here, have a laugh

That cant be the official crunchbits yt channel 😭
Also, I’m curious would it be possible to have the same specs as the VPS you provided above, but with only 1GB of RAM and no NVMe SSD, just pure HDD? How much cheaper would it be, or how much more storage could I get at that price you originally offered with those 2 removed, if such a config is even possible?
Unfortunately, customisation is not possible for the storage plans
Welp, nothing i can do about that. Thank you for responding.
i guess i'll think it over tonight and see tomorrow if its worth the money hehe
Lol, without youtube CC, i'll never understand this
@yabarg your avatar is… well, it is edgy
