Anyone use rackdog.com cloud services before?

They have a panel located at https://cloud.rackdog.com/hub/login

This panel is unlike any I've seen before. It sort of looks like Jupyter, maybe this is python and JS. Not sure. I was able to create a VM and VPC, everything totally works.

Mainly wondering if anyone has used Rackdog before and has anything to say about them or if they recognize the panel - maybe it's in house built?

Otherwise they look pretty cool on the surface.

Their network - https://peeringdb.com/asn/398465

What do you mean? I saw on linkedin that they have 2 founders and 1 DCT

  • Rackdog IP transit is pretty good (it lets you announce IPs on ATT ASN - top tier for scraping)

  • I have not used their Cloud Services before, but their Dedicated servers are fantastic, with great peering, and speeds.

Their support used to be top notch, but has fallen greatly in the last 12 months. Average ticket response time has been over 3 business days.

Thanks yeah, they don't respond to messages and their website says 2020 on it. Phone number goes right to a voicemail box. Seems like the two founders may be sort of letting it exist potentially. Linkedin shows the 1 employee in india that helps them out. Not sure about them, based on the lack of response I'm gonna say I would not want to use them for anything I care about.

A shame because their whole "cloud panel" is actually pretty sweet, something I'd love to see other providers have but it seems they may have had it built for them.
