Belated Congrats, that's awesome.
I want to buy a buyvm Luxembourg server, but it is not available on the website. Can anyone provide one?
Hello Francisco,
I would like to setup an account in BuyVM client portal to receive a service transfer and start to become BuyVM customer. But seems like it only accept paid order to make an account (process after being paid).
And unfortunately you have no plans available, and I don't have a use for a 100USD/month plan to have an account for a $5/mo plan to go in.
Can I do it via submit a ticket with my email from the client portal?
@Francisco
Wow you go to buy VM you're transfer to cloudzy and I see no offers that resembles what's on buyVM what a freaking joke
Means buyvm is out of stock.
Akash restocks every morning if something is available.
Francisco
Thanks
What time zone for morning, we live on a globe rotating at 15° per hour
im gonna fucking lirrr if @nghialele doesnt get an account
There has been no server in Luxembourg for half a year。
Does Cloudzy provision their brand on buyvm infrastructure? I notice the locations are similar so curious if everything is completely separate or if theres a priority for the Cloudzy brand to have stock, since they seemingly always have stock on that side.
Cloudzy colocates in all BuyVM locations, and then has some of their own mixed in (Dallas, NL, UK, SG).
Cloudzy will obviously have a good bit of their own kit going into Switzerland.
LUX is always a very low stock location.
As of last month Akash & I decided to not restock LUX while we await the Swiss move. We already have a lot of data we have to migrate, and selling more stock just adds to it.
Francisco
When will the Luxembourg server be available?
They won't be. LUX will move to Switzerland and then we'll open stock there.
Francisco
obviously
why they would sell dirt cheap when they can make more profit on the main brand. Isn't it obvious?
Are the service policies in Switzerland and Luxembourg the same?

Cloudzy is not that much more than BuyVM.
Cloudzy uses MUCH different hardware in all the BuyVM locations. Dual proc'd EPYC's with 2TB of RAM. Absolute units. They've yet to deploy any of their new Ryzen nodes in any of these locations. I have no doubt they will, but their main focus has been Swiss, Utah, and a mystery location that's still being worked out.
Francisco
@Francisco do you know if cloudzy offers BGP sessions? Thanks.
Not yet. Afaik they’re working on it though
Francisco
When will you move the NL servers ?
Mars
Switzerland
When not where
BuyVM isn't moving to NL. There was too much pushback from people.
We hope to have CH going any day now
The optics we needed should've arrived today.
Everything involves a delay for customs. It drives me nuts.
Francisco
@Francisco Is it possible to buy BuyVM DDoS Protection in any way?
@Francisco so BuyVM CH will be available soon? Any ETA?
I don't think this has been directly answered, but this is not correct. The servers are still in LUX.
He means stock. We haven’t stocked lux since April I think. We saw no reason to keep the nodes loaded when we have to migrate everything to CH.
Less data to move this way.
Francisco
Any news about Switzerland?
when sell?
cloudzy wowdzy was a bear
