Short answer no, long answer noooooooo.
Checked using mxtoolbox, my IP listed in RATS Spam blacklist.
yes if you want cheap
I'm not sure whether they allow SMTP but if they do, clearly yes. It's a surprisingly nice deal and a decent box. I actually did quite extensively benchmark my MG VPS (2G mem.) here -> https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/198672/a-quick-review-benchmark-of-massivegrid-promo-vps
TL;DR processor really decent, network not great but definitely OK (and certainly for an email server), disk is the weak spot, not utter crap but mediocre at best. But again, damn good enough for an email server. Big bonus: almost insane traffic volume. And of course ridiculously cheap.
Really? Are they selling blacklisted IPs?
dunno. I just buy ipv4 then get free vps for 4 years. you can use as SMTP server of course. but I 'm not sure is your email will come to recepients inbox.

I'm using their service.
Their whole 185.168.XXX.0/24 is blacklisted by Spam RATs.
Yes, I tried to contact the list and they won't whitelist the IP even if SPF, DMARC, DKIM, rDNS are all correctly setup.
No, I don't have deliverability issues.
MassiveGRID, massive packet loss.

I'm aware of that. Even doing MTR on 1.1.1.1 has severe packet drops issues... You get what you pay for (and I'm almost happy with it)
I've a server with them, it's part of my 16 mail server cluster. Its pretty stable so far.
and I thought my 11 is a lot hehe
When I got my first server with them a couple of months before they came to LET, the IP was on the spamRATS blacklist. That was the only list it was on, but also a real bitch to get delisted from. They had a whole list of requirements and google gets you reports of infuriated people who can't get off that damn list.
I wrote a ticket about this and their reply was to thank me for the report and that they were going to actively resolve this. And they did! A couple of days later the IP (and the whole range) was not on the list any more. I thought that was a good example of great customer service.
For SMTP, I don't see any reason why you should not go with MassiveGRID.
Edit: To clarify, the IP was only on that one List, and it has not appeared on any other lists since then. Neither the network nor the single IP. I have also noticed that subjectively, I get much less captcha bullshit thrown my way when I VPN via MG than via, say, Strato or 1blu. So I would say their IP reputation seems good. All things considered, I was pleasantly surprised actually.
