I did same, I wrote back to them, that there may be a mistake from their side, I would pay, not got back reply. I think, if we see overall, even 3$ it won't even cover IP cost. I live in India, it cost a ton for infra for data centers, power, and network.
My happiness is I get sub 10 ms reply from the DigiRDP VPS, as I used with USA with more than 230 ms and Europe about 140 to 180 ms reply.
