    Chinese attack on Indian IPs, possibly on USA IPs too. Secure your VPS, don't use predictable password. disable root login, disable password login, use ssh key only login. I have UFW, yet to provision. IPBan package had issue in last install. looking for banning those repeated ssh failed attempt ips.

    If you have a static network IP (specific VPN IP), it's better to allow SSH login only from that IP and block all others.

    there are my entry systems, from there I connect other systems. Adding strong ssh key based login, disable root, adding tools to ban those make attempts more than 3 times with password, allow only specific users in sshconfig, UFW. Yet to explore more native firewall features rather than using ipban like tools
