Hello,

2024 is ending, did you find a new software or service you love it or become “never without “?

    • I started using scp properly and that's pretty cool.
    • Joined a couple of private trackers so all the related tools
    • Raycast (started in 2023 but it's still indispensable)
  • Audiobookshelf. The OG.

    AI

  • Stremio : which is like an opened (free) Netflix, and their 2025 future is bright~ (more & more add-ons)

  • Coolify. 100%.

  • Bitwarden, I pay $10/yr for it though for the TOTP codes. I feel the downside is that it's synced all the time through their servers.

I would like to self host, but does the self host version have sync options through my services, instead of bitwardens.

Oh yeah +1 for Coolify! Started using it this Summer and it's a fantastic DX.

I'm new so I'm in TL and MAM, atm. Both are pretty easy to build a ratio on if you pair them with DMCA-ignore LET VPS as Seedbox.

Same in my end. Do you like audiobooks, I suppose?

  • Nice, good luck! MAM has a great community. Try getting on FL too, it's also a great general tracker.

Honestly I've never heard a single one I think 😅. I read A LOT but I already have a huge backlog of books in digital format so MAM isn't needed but maybe a couple of years down the line I'll get use out of it.

Heard a lot about FL! Don't know anyone who's a member so I'll have to grind to find one.

It wasn't difficult to join until recently some idiots didn't start giving away invites on reddit to anyone who asked without any proof. This led to disabling invite system for some time, I'm not sure did something changed meantime.

Vaultwarden offers that for free. If you have one of those $7/y VPS, you save yourself $3 to buy/renew a cheap domain for it.

  • @mandala does it work when there's no connection to the server? I can't remember exactly where, but I read it's impossible to save or edit something, if you don't have a connection to the server.

I know you are talking about VPS here, but I would rather have it hosted locally. So I saw somewhere that add/edit is not possible until you are connected back to a local network in my case.

Yes, you won't be able to edit offline. If that's the case, KeePass would be a better option. Choose a client for each of your platform, save your database to cloud and sync it.

Already using keepass beside bitwarden, so I thought to switch to vaultwarden, but seems like I will stick with the current setup.

  • tinc-vpn for Wide Virtual Lan.
I was originally using N2N but it does not support transport via ipv6 and port penetration fails mostly.
I thought about tailscale and zerotier but they are not the options for me.
tinc is similar but far more power than n2n. The most impotant one is is support assisted discovering and connect via ipv6. It also allow you become a volunteer so others can connect through you.

  • Enpass for password manager. If u buy from iphone it’s very cheap and it’s works well with my ios macos and windows
Dokploy and coolify to manage my vps
    Hetrixtools to monitor my vps
Bezsel (i just found it yesterday and im trying to figure it out)

https://safe-in-cloud.com/en/ you can try this, only one time fee and very cheap.

Your data belongs to you. SIC enables you to store and sync passwords and passkeys wherever is best for you — iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, NextCloud, WebDAV, or completely offline.

  • Open source only.

  • Bitwarden w/ premium to store all my passwords across devices

Windterm to store all my nodes information across devices

I tried these out recently as well. What are you using for configuration? A GUI like Hiddify or are you using the CLI only?

Usenet, sabnzbd and arrs, I guess.

@Sipamungkas using Enpass since years, it's great. Can also generate 2FA codes.

  • This is amazing, thanks a lot!
