Does Digital Ocean fast resize go up as well us down?

I want to be able to run Netbeans or Eclipse temporarily on an image and resize it down afterwards, without having to create a new smaller image from a snapshot. Is it possible to resize down after you finish with it?

    Can only go up. I downsized one recently by making a new one from snapshot. It wasn't so bad, just had to run sed on my config files for virtual hosts.
