How to check if provider's IP range is clean?

I recall reading a post on LowEndTalk where someone tested providers' IP ranges to check if they were clean/not blacklisted. Could someone share how to perform these checks? I'd like to verify the IP ranges from some lesser-known providers I've recently purchased from.

I am not an expert, but wouldn't it be better to leave them in the dirt for a while so they can develop immunity?

It seems there's no perfect solution apart from turning it off and plugging it back in again.

I am listed on ascams superblock but nowhere else. Never heard of them. Domain and IP is used almost 9 years and is always clean. Probably one of those that I can ignore 😅
