I previously had 1gbit server from them, prepaid for half a year, and seeing these offers i decided to ask them if i can jump on 10gbit one. They were so kind and prorated me for new one and can't wait to try it out.

@HostDZire vps review? I was looking at it... And you giving 20% off I might jump the gun.....
Thank you for your inquiry regarding Leaseweb VPS plans. While we initially considered offering a 10% discount on Leaseweb VPS plans, we have decided against moving forward due to several challenges and associated risks.
Challenges Identified:
High Bandwidth Overuse Costs:
Leaseweb’s bandwidth overage charges are approximately €10 per additional TB. This could lead to situations where just 1TB of excess usage costs more than the VPS itself, making it a significant financial risk.
Minimal to No Profit Margins:
Offering a 10% discount on Leaseweb’s pricing results in no direct issues for the customer.
However, when we process the order, additional costs such as currency conversion fees and transaction charges consume nearly 10% of the total payment, leaving us with little to no profit.
Even without offering a discount and matching Leaseweb's standard pricing, the margins remain too thin to justify the effort and risks involved.
Given these challenges, we believe the risks outweigh the benefits.
Potential Solution:
The only feasible way to mitigate these risks would be to add a 10-20% markup on Leaseweb’s pricing. This would allow us to make a small margin while also covering potential costs, such as bandwidth overages. However, this approach would make our pricing less competitive compared to Leaseweb’s direct offerings.
Future Plans:
Instead of reselling Leaseweb VPS plans, we are focusing on launching our own VPS solutions in Singapore. These will run on our own hardware, colocated in a reliable data center. This approach allows us to offer more competitive pricing and maintain better control over the services provided.
We will announce our Singapore VPS plans soon and look forward to offering you a robust, cost-effective hosting solution.
Thank you for understanding, and we appreciate your continued support!
Well i wasn't looking at SG rather NL, oh well your post surely made a point especially with currency conversion and transaction fees part. I am off to looking at something better or i might just get it directly from lsw, also i heard they increase the price yearly is it true? If yes I would rather stick to hetzner or clouvider.
Yes they do increase 4% yearly.

Securing this type of pricing on Leaseweb servers is extremely challenging in the current market. The pricing I mentioned in this thread was achieved through a bulk order of approximately 500 servers, which allowed us to negotiate and access such competitive rates.
