Interesting config.
Can you point when was this offered?
Thnx
This was a mystery box offered in GreenCloud 11th Birthday (which is around October this year).
I see. Me likes 👍
But location is not optimal.
Can you ask if they can switch location?
What was original price of mystery box?
Switch to SG? Hmm..
I don’t know I got this transferred from others. I didn’t have the luck.
I am not sure if this is possible, doubt it, but I will submit a ticket tomorrow morning to see.
sadly promotional plan cannot change location
I could do $85
US East somewhere
No custom OS allowed?
Id be interested but confused how you come up with a asking price of 95$ when you paid 88$ and its got less months than when you bought it in October?
Selling rules permit scalpers to charge twice of the per-billing-period price.
However, we found scalping VPS more risky than buying bonds.
The real question is "what is it worth to the buyer, and does it still represent a better deal than what they could buy elsewhere?" What the buyer paid for it is neither here nor there.
For example, I have 5 or 6 GC servers. Three of them were $99/3yr, but another one was free from a draw. If I wanted to transfer them to someone else, they are all equal as far as I am concerned, as far as GC billing is concerned, and as far as any potential buyer should be concerned.
I paid $100 including 10$ transfer fee to the original owner who paid for the mystery box. I’ve used it for 22 days. Now I am transferring for $95, which also includes $10 transfer fee.
I agree if you got one from a draw and could sell it for what its worth (remaining time)
But to use a server for a couple of months then try to resell it for MORE than what you originally paid with less remaining time left? I dont get that one
The remaining value is around $83 if my calculation is correct, so $93 is including remaining value plus transferring fee. I am happy to take an offer of $93, thanks.
Again, I don’t think this is an act of scalping, I paid for $100 on 12 Nov 2024 and that’s how much I value the package, now that I got a VPS from hostsailor, the GC Package is idling.
I think you can install windows on it, I’ve never done it myself, but definitely have seen others done it
Hello
Unfortunately, your VPS plan is a promotional plan so it doesn't support location changes.
Thanks and have a nice day!
That’s what they said
worth a shot to ask. Good luck!
I can do $90 considering there is a transfer fee of $10
85$ is a very good offer.
Transferred.
Mine Thanks!
