I would like to Transfer away this Vps from Hosthatch as I got dedi, and this one is idling since few days.its special promotion and paid till may 2026 ,

13th Anniversary Promotion - AMD Compute 24GB -

CPU Cores: 6 [2 dedicated]
Storage: 300.00 GB Nvme
RAM: 24.00 GiB
Bandwidth: 50.00 TB
Location: Chicago

$200.00 every 2 years ( ~$8.3/month ) Paid for until 2026-05-02

Asking $140+10$ (Hosthatch transfer fee) = 140$ for 17 months remaining,

I can accept only bitpay / crypto , [ check my previous Transfer threads for authenticity ]

Well, it's the best server I have ever had , but I got couples of dedi this bf (thanks to ovh) that's why I this vps is idling , and I would prefer to transfer it rather then idling

    130$ , now
as I just want to get rid of it, i have many servers idling , need to manage them all ,

  • Would not take it for free, hosthatch has really declined in service. Support is practically useless paid for a server supposed to be automatic delievery. They activated the service and the VPS wouldnt boot due to some node fault took them 2 days to fix it and they did not even extend the billing period

No one asked or offered you, hostage is reliable provider for years, stupid

I don't own Hosthatch, I just rented a service, and I have no issue to carry on ,

  • that'd be nice if its a 3-year deal with Storage doubled.

That offer want applicable in this

  • 1 gbps or 10 gbps ?

    10

  • post a yabs please

  • How does it even count, you say there are 6 cores on the server.
2 dedicated cores and 4 virtual cores and you add them together and you get 6 cores?

    2 vCores dedicated
    4 vCores Shared

    Total 6 vCores

  • While this offer always tempting, I badly need dedicated due to my tech stack, I almost got and paid for transfer of ovh CA, but Indian OVH said no for transfer though url on top starts with ca.ovh..

I have old servers sitting in room, wish to go for home lab now. Many dedi offers I missed during BF.

I really don't know how provider tweak those dedicated threads, dedicated ram plus shared ram and shared threads.

I can 70 to 80 percent on lab if I learn dedicated systems and Promax like virtualization technology.

I believe one can request Support to take away shared vCores… leaving only 2 dedicated vCores … and can be used 100% without any restrictions

So they don't ban you if you keep using CPU at higher? Will they throttle shared in case the usage goes high instead of shutdown or ban you? Even if we bring up monitoring tools, CPU and ram usage goes high.

This is my understanding, one needs to confirm with HH Support

    2 vCore 4 shared vCores
== 33% average cpu utilization permitted

Again, this is my understanding and I could be wrong here.
