Fixed the link for you.
From a customer's point of view, I think it is a plus to have a webcam showing the DC/room. It makes things more concrete and can give an idea of the provider's seriousness.
I just saw that @DartNode has one.

Someone in Fremont has one in their cab...
thats a pretty big screwdriver ngl 😳
I like commercial DCs that don't have live cams and don't allow cams... Last thing I want to do walking into a DC is thinking about the fact I'm being livestreamed online. If a company owns a big part of a DC floor space it's fine.
Live cam may violate personal rights protection. Most data centers have video surveillance, but cameras are used for security, and only authorized persons and police and secret services may have access to them.
If you are a colocator, you can install cameras in your own private rack, I guess.
Do any of these streams come with, uh, enhanced rack views?
This is why we don't livestream ours. We've thought about doing a small section for some promotions and things with a whiteboard.
While we have cameras covering basically every angle in our suites and cages for security reasons.
images?
@jfreak53 will colo anything except chopped body parts.
Thus, you can send a Raspberry Pi with camera, only $5/month.
