Cdn question regarding location

I have a noob question. If my main target is US users but my vps is in SG/VN , added a cloudflare to the mix. Would the speed for US users to my site still matter?

I mean does their ping still high since im using CDN ?

"ping" will be less than 10ms, as it goes to nearest Cloudflare colo.
TTFB (Time To First Byte) will be less than 100ms for cached content that is served by nearest Cloudflare colo.
TTFB will be still 500ms for uncached content that must be retrieved from origin server.

USA servers are generally cheaper than Singapore servers.
You should put Singapore servers up for service transfer and buy USA servers.
