If I wanted to change the CPU to the one you linked (and maybe up the memory), would it be better for me to order these before delivery of the server?

Also - what SSD's are used in these? As would be interested in getting more.

Yes - you can certainly do that. Just make a ticket with the tracking number and I will hold onto the shipment until the rack is finished deploying.

The SSD's are mixed brands. If you do want more SSD's just make sure you get the HP DL360 G9 Drive Trays with it (2.5")

Thanks - I'll get a cart together over the weekend sometime then open a ticket about it all before ordering.

  • Anyone aware of any pcie adapter which support multiple drives? Would be a nice addon

  • Is it possible a BGP session to announce my IPs? What would be the cost?

  • @jonbeard I noticed that your site mentions 'BGP Setup / IP Announcement $25.' Does this fee only cover the initial setup, or is it also the monthly cost for maintaining the BGP session? Could you clarify if there are any recurring charges for the BGP service?

This is just a one-time admin fee for setting up and submitting your LOA's to our carriers. Ongoing BGP is free of charge.

I placed the order (6705361584). Is it possible to include a /64 IPv6?

Shouldn't be an issue. When your server gets deployed, just request for it then. Ill be catching up on all orders and generating activation tickets for everyone. When yours gets made, can you please go ahead and send in your LOA stuff?

Bifurcation is possible with these HP DL360 G9... Not officially as far as HP says, but a quick Google search landed me here: https://community.hpe.com/t5/servers-general/bifurcation-hp-proliant-dl380-gen9/td-p/7160272

You can continue paying $59/month for colocation. This is not an introduction price. If you only want a 1Gbps connection instead of the 10Gbps link, we can drop you down to $49/mo :)

  • Got it

  • This sounds interesting, but I need 2TB of storage. Would you guys customize one? Or would you want me to order the parts, ship, remote hands, etc.?

I can likely do ram, CPUs and disks all within 30 mins of remote hands. This would be like $37 of remote hands.

  • I read that, @jonbeard , but it only mentioned more CPU/RAM and adding NVMe. Above, you said "If you do want more SSD's just make sure you get the HP DL360 G9 Drive Trays with it (2.5")" so I was asking specifically what's involved if I wanted 2TB of SSD instead of the 500GB one (and I noted your website said some will randomly have 1TB).

Basically, I was wondering if it was something that could be custom ordered out of the gate instead of me ordering parts to be sent there?

I’ll shoot you a PM. We can discuss. I think we can probably work something out that will benefit you

You’d need Atleast a 2u for a GPU imo. These probably wouldn’t be a good fit.

  • @jonbeard is possible send like 100-150bucks or pay rather than me ordering around from ebay to there? Nvme upgrades, rest to ram / cpu.
