Got a 3T storage box with 2x RAM.
Disk I/O for the spinning rust is kinda slow compared to other storage boxes that I have from HostHatch or GreenCloud.

Thanks - this helps me decide whether to renew my storage plans or get a storage here.

Storage is located very close to where I live, but those disk speeds...

NP. I am guessing they're rawdogging the storage layer with a couple of HDDs on node that are a part of the standard offering with WebWerks. I'd hate to be wrong on this. Perhaps this oddity can be fixed by reprovisioning on a diff node?

Man, I just bought the 15 usd one last month and have experienced few downtimes ( digirdp did acknowledge it) but is it possible to increase something (I know it may be not, but what's wrong in asking 😁 ) . P.S. I did participate in the flash deal of the storage vps and would also like to know if that qualifies for the giveaway.

Nice, they quickly accepted my order and already doubled my RAM hours ago (unlike many other providers on LET), but they haven't said it here yet.
    Humble.
    I like it.

@DigiRDP what's the node & RAID config like? Any possibility of extra traffic on 3TB boxes?
3TB traffic for a 3TB storage box is cutting it too close IMO.

Also, YABS (on HDD partition and NOT SSD)

Not sure about how it came by default - but I did a clean reinstall so I had to format the secondary drive and mount it

  • Yes. You need to mount it.
