Review (3 months): NetDynamics Storage dedi FTW
Long-time lurker, first-time poster here. I consider myself a bit of a "mini-hoarder," and to protect my ~40TB collection, I figured I should have at least two independent mirrors. Naturally, I chose Hetzner for one of the servers. After noticing the low bandwidth on their storage boxes, I went for an auction server, and everything seemed fine.
For the second server, I searched high and low for something offering 40+TB for under 100 euros, while also ensuring a reliable provider. After reading a comment about NetDynamics, I gained some confidence in them. This post really caught my attention:

Then I came across this post, which reassured me further since they were still in business:

Additionally, I recall reading a comment on LET from NetDynamics where they mentioned how they appreciate customers who reach out to ask questions before making a decision. That gave me the final nudge to contact them and try their services for at least a month.
Three months in, and I’m planning on a year’s commitment if they continue this level of service.
The main reason I’m writing this post is to praise NetDynamics. I initially thought that Hetzner would be my go-to for high uptime, though with the risk of random suspensions. But now, I’ve been proven wrong, as my Hetzner Helsinki instance is unreachable at the moment (tried rebooting, disabling the firewall, and just contacted support), while my NetDynamics instance is still up and running smoothly.
Here’s what I’ve appreciated about NetDynamics (from a storage perspective):
- Affordable pricing – Their prices speak for themselves.
- Transparency – I’ve asked them questions about their infrastructure and for recommendations on additional instances. After reviewing my use-case, they not only provided fresh instances, but also advised me honestly that some of their solutions might not fit my needs.
- Fast, friendly support – The longest I've had to wait for a reply is about 8 hours, but typically it’s just a couple of hours. I hope their support team is getting enough sleep!
- No upselling or gimmicks – Their approach has been straightforward. They answer all my questions professionally and without any hidden agendas.
I really hope they continue to grow and succeed.
P.S. There’s no provider that beats NetDynamics on both price and track record in my opinion. Bring on the competition—I’d love to turn my 2-cloud strategy into a 3-cloud one. 😄
