"it works on my machine" != it works every time
your thing will likely break if LET signout takes less time than your timeout/interval
realistically it's hard to reach, especially with higher round trip times, but that's not the point

My code has nothing to do with timing tho. It is replacing document.getElementById so that var url = document.getElementById('SignoutLink').getAttribute('href'); in signout page doesn't work. setInterval is only there to return back to the previous page.
