Cheapest NAT VPS
Hello, new member here,
I've been looking around for a NAT VPS that is dirt cheap. Performance doesn't really matter as it'll just be a VPN server. Minimum 128MB and 2x IPv4 ports + IPv6 if possible.
So far I've found these options:
Gullo's hosting - OpenVZ NAT VPS $5.00/yr
microLXC - FREE LXC container*
FreeVPS - FREE VPS*
FocusLXC - LXC container $2.37/yr (no IPv4 though)
*Fulfil the terms - usually active LET account with 50 posts.
Does anyone know of other options are there that don't require a LET account? (paid)
Cheers,
eguo

By the looks of it still around $5/yr is the lowest
Move away from it. It comes with 50% idle cpu steal and dreadful customer support. And a few days later, their server broke, and server won't restart again.
In the case of Khanwebhost, the JP node was terribly unstable. However, even when the connection was impossible, the administrator insisted that there was no issue with the node itself.
128MB plans are $3.50 at some locations(CA/FIN are available, CHI/FR/DE/PL/BG are OoS), but I think @Cam mentioned there might be some changes to the OVZ NAT plans (apologies if I’m mistaken).
Also, keep in mind that the IPv4 addresses of many NAT VPS are likely already blocked in countries like China.

Thanks for the heads up, I was considering it as it looked to be the cheapest. I’d like to try a LXC based host sometime though. I’m sorry to hear your personal experience, on the flip side not much cash was lost. ‘Manual provisioning’ is questionable given their lack of support.
Cheers, there are indeed $3.50 options at least for now. Unfortunately I can only purchase a year at a time.

Similar to microLXC, LET account requirements.

I wish, hopefully that’ll happen soon
You can always manually renew in the client area to add more years!
Manual provisioning was not the problem. I was unable to access the server for almost a week, even though it showed provisioned and shown online, and when I asked for a refund and was denied on the basis of the terms, I complained that it would be 'fraud' if I didn't get the server and couldn't get a refund. The company admin then told me that 'forcing us to do anything would be a violation of the terms' and threatened me backhandedly to stop using the word 'fraud'. And days later, The server became accessible, but one day it went offline.. yeah I gave up. I'm glad it's such a small amount of money.
Unfortunately they got away with it. I wonder if they actually have any real services. They just posted some BF plans. 😂
I think it don't allow VPN, according to its TOS
@Cam Does VPN includes in the proxy according to your TOS?
VPN is fine. They even have a Wireguard setup guide. https://hosting.gullo.me/plugin/support_manager/knowledgebase/view/30/how-to-setup-wireguard-on-openvz-nat-vps/4/
@nick_ Could you explain what's the difference between VPN and proxy for me please?
Thanks.
Still curious if VPN isn't allowed?

So v2ray ,shadowrocket or hysteriais also allowed, right?
Yes, for a picky customer like you who is asking too much for $5/year service, you're allowed to use go find other providers.
I hosted a Tor bridge there, if that's allowed I don't see a problem with your stuff.
Thanks @emaiI
If you want your ipv6 working at least regularly, I would recommend against KWH.
In past may I have bought the yearly OVZ for VPN, and like the other guy above warned, when something broke (and my ipv6 broke weekly) he would answer a week later fixing it and say that now everything was ok on his side.
After about two months I gave up there.
I'm using KWH-KVM Nat vps in TR, and UDP port forwarding was disabled (it seems) on the server side.
So I raised a ticket on Saturday and got an answer on Monday (problem solved).
So may be it is better now. Just saying.
how to find a nat vps yearly in cheap price with stable company with rdns supportive for irc bouncer.
