    For me, it took almost 18 hours for the server to be activated (and Windows Server OS) since the payment was made.

    @ColoCrossing
    The order was made with Windows Server 2022 OS, but on the Reinstall OS options - Windows Server 2019 and 2022 are missing

    Windows Server 2008 and 2012 are already way past EOL. Not sure why these options are even listed.

    Another one that you can “send” to the developer team.

    Thanks!

    Please submit a ticket for the reinstall. We can get that done right away for you.

    I don’t need Reinstall right now.

    The automated reinstall options allow me to reinstall even at 3am, whereas opening a ticket reinstall OS is probably not in sync with current times.

    May I ask what is expected turnaround time for a ticketed request to reinstall Windows Server OS?

    My expectation is turnaround time of under 60 minutes for OS reinstall in a dedicated server. If they do not updating their Automated Reinstall OS , which is outdated by 3+ years.

    I think they have different people taking care of the VM platform vs the main service. Their support on the main site (not the "cloud servers") is some of the best I have ever experienced across dozens of hosts.

    We are still waiting on virtualizor to respond to us on this particular issue. We have bumped them for a respond. To be clear there is no impact to any of your actual current services with the delay on waiting on virtualizor.

    I agree with that part that service is fast and very responsive.

    Just that automated os install is clearly outdated and updating that will save them hours on support time.

    @ColoCrossing
    Kindly let me the root cause when you get update from your development team regarding the million dollar invoice.

    OS reinstalls on dedicated servers are charged?

    Within reason yes as long as its not a constant request for reinstall. If there is a charge you can always ask billing to review it and they can look to be waived.

    We do also offer IPMI where you can mount an ISO and install the OS yourself.

    The VPS order form says "New York" as the location, is that in NYC/NJ or is that is BUffalo? since you have servers in both locations.

    We are out of stock in Dallas. To avoid a delay we provisioned you in the next available location. If you have a concern with this please open a ticket at our portal as LET is not our helpdesk.

  • It is not available yet, but I have seen a server assigned to me. The CPU has been upgraded to E3-1240v3, and the rest are standard configurations. It has been assigned to Buffalo.
