What are the other two?
PureVoltage and ServerPoint
I had an awesome yearly deal from chicagovps w/ 3x ips whom I believe got bought by colocrossing. I accidently let the contract expire, it was just for hobby projects but it was nice having the 3 ips.
I had good experience with these guys. One time lost my server and they were able to quickly back it up. Felt bad because it was mostly junk on there anyway
but was surprised it got recovered so fast. I did notice you may have to pay for backups now.
Watching this thread intently for one of those flash deals they mentioned and i'll probably scoop one up if I get the chance
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us!
No comment from you? @ColoCrossing
At ColoCrossing, we are committed to providing top-tier datacenter infrastructure services at competitive prices. To help maintain low overall costs for our customers, we have introduced a 3% processing fee for payments made via credit card and PayPal. This adjustment allows us to offset the transaction fees associated with these payment methods, ensuring that we can continue to deliver high-quality services without general price increases.
For those who wish to avoid this surcharge, we are pleased to offer alternative payment options such as wire transfers or ACH, which are not subject to additional fees.
I think these processing fees are against Paypal terms
Nice answer @ColoCrossing

Ha thats a pretty cool site. Imo HR/sales speak has always been 'robotic' sounding so I wonder how often statements of that nature produce a false positive. This is not me trying to say whether I think its AI or not
It is 100% AI.
i dont blame them using AI text, as long as they did look thru it and they mean it...
sometimes i write my thoughts on chatgpt and ask for text, not because im lazy, im saving yall time so you dont have to decipher my crap

Why does it take 5+ days to get a price for an additional vCPU.
How many more days do I have to wait for an answer?

The most interesting thing is being able to buy your flash sale.
The most interesting thing happened was that I got my AFF through unremitting efforts.
dmca friendly?
.
Was I stupid or genius?
Back in 2015, I set up my VPS to serve as a CDN and static cache for WordPress images, while keeping my actual WordPress app on shared web hosting (yes, you read that right!). I naively assumed that offloading static assets would be the silver bullet. Little did I know, the real performance boost comes from having the database and app itself on the VPS!
Fast forward to my facepalm moment, I realized I was optimizing the wrong end!
Despite the mistake, it was a valuable lesson learned.
