Comments
Be cautious when dealing with this company.
As loyal customers of WorldStream for 15 years, we invested significantly in their services. Yet, our relationship was suddenly terminated with an AI-generated cancellation notice, leaving us just days to move dozens of servers and over 30TB of data. For a longstanding client with a spotless record, this kind of impersonal treatment feels incredibly disrespectful.
Not only that, they asked us to do KYC for our customers, then only they can accept us as resellers. I think they are following Hetzner.
What exactly is wrong with them not wanting "offshore" and scammy clients in their network ?
Hey, I never said they did anything wrong. I just mentioned that they’re requiring resellers to complete KYC for their customers—is there anything wrong with sharing that information?
No, but it sounded like you want to present their email as bad thing
Okay, my bad, but i was just spreading information.
Let me explain, @btchost said they are suspending users who use their service for offshore hosting.
I am only adding, that they are not accepting resellers who doesn't do strict kyc for their customers.
Also added they are following Hetzner.
Nobody is doing wrong here, both are very good company, its their policy they can do whatever they want, and i understand they need to follow their local low.
Screenshot was given to show proof whatever i am claiming is right, and with my own experience, everyone knows about Hetzner, how to close account etc, but there is very few case about worldstream policy like this so i shared screenshots for proof so people can trust my information.
15 years no abuse, a few thousand spent every month, nothing "scammy."
We are a registered business; they had our business number and incorporation documents.
Their servers weren’t even labeled as "Offshore" on the brand we hosted with them, but as "Netherlands Business Hosting," where we offer Managed Business Hosting in Asia, Europe, and America. Is there something bad about the word "Offshore" that I'm unaware of?
Will they block "Adult Hosting," or perhaps "News Media" that doesn’t align with their ideology? It’s indeed a bad thing, and people should be warned.
