was 10$/m or even less.
17$/m for 8GB dedi is a scam more or less.
Ancient hardware.....
A few months ago it cost 11.5 euros
They constantly adjust the price of them, I've got one at this spec I'm paying $13 USD a month for
I have one too. I currently pay 13.50 euros per month
They used to sell atom dedis with 1TB HDDs for ~$5-6. Prices got doubled after the energy crisis, and these days you’d find one for $7 or so if you get lucky.
Ancient hardware still has plenty of use cases, whether it be VPN, file storage, hosting lower traffic websites, etc. I run a couple game servers which would sit very happily on a 1220.
I still remember the "kedichere" (or whatever the exact name was) from Online.net back in the days. They had these atom cpu's with 120GB SSD for 1,99€ per month. That was an amazing deal back in the 2010s.
