Hosthatch VPS keeps restarting

I have a VPS at Hosthatch that I'm currently not using, so I did a shutdown. I noticed it was running, so I did another shutdown, and changed my account passwords. I just noticed it was running again. Anyone have an idea why the VPS keeps restarting?

Comments

  • If you did a full shutdown and HostHatch panel indicated the VM not running (with the 'red' status light) then the startup had to be issued by HostHatch panel/software/system. I can't say I've noticed the same, however, on HostHatch. I've a VM that was shut down over a month ago (due to disk corruption, bleh) and has not been restarted.

It is trying to hatch out.

    Keep watching.
