@cloudblast There are more providers only offering IPv4, so I have decided to not make a too big deal of it if it is temporary.

Wondering what your definition of "temporary" is. It's not working for at least 2 months now, and looking at the response from them here there is no itention to fix it quickly.

In my opinion, if you're assigned a range, it's routed to within 1 or 2 hops of your VPS, configuration of the VPS includes the range... how difficult can it be to fix it, even if it has to be done manually (doubt that) for customers who complaint about it.

If you're not able to fix that within say a week or so, there can be 3 things going on:

    • You don't want to fix it
    • You are technically not capable of fixing it
    • You need equipment (or a maintenance window) because your current stuff can't handle IPv6

Based on my discussions with them it's a combination of option 1 and 2. After a few weeks of discussions and setting them a deadline I got the reply: "we cannot guarantee it will be fixed by the end of this week. If ipv6 is a strict requirement for you, I believe it's better we give you a refund and you go somewhere else". That response came on the 16th of September.
