a year ≠ per year
You have to break it down for people in black and white.
$11.88 / YR = Introductory Price (One Year)
$35.88 / YR = Regular price (Recurring)
If you say $11.88/year - you're implying that's the price out the door, recurring.
If you say $35.88/year with a first year promo rate of $11.88 - sure it doesn't look as tempting but at least you're being honest with potential clients.
What you're doing (for a second time) is just coming off as shady.
I think we should have a template for every provider to use which includes all the basic details like price per year, recurring or one time discount, YABS score included in post itself as most of us care to see performance before making a purchase and network test too. This is basic and should be included in every VPS promo post.
changed "a" to "the first". Everyone happy now?
Yes, that should be changed too. But the title change I think is enough (for the title, that is).
Is racknerd oversold? I don’t know. Just asking
i cant believe it takes a moderator to use proper English
False advertisement still running
Definitely oversold. There's no doubt about it.
Whoops we probably could have done a better job here I am definitely making it re-occurring Sorry for all of the confusion.
Yours is still as vague as his lol
One should never use /year when talking about 1 year only. When you write "/year", people automatically assume it's recurring.
In the #18 post, you made it clear that it's a one time thing only and not recurring.
Now you are saying it will be recurring.
So which one is it?
I think after all these chaos occured, now the provider want to make these discount reccuring, atleast for some limited stock. If so, this will be a good move.
I'd buy it recurring, but $36/yr for 1GB RAM? I'll wait a few weeks until OVH or anyone else's sale.
Not bashing, rather - you're barking up the wrong tree with these prices. Trust in the recurring yearly and that we will forget these shitboxes just to keep them up @12/yr idling.
Then you'll understand the LET way and make $$$.
If that’s the case then go DediRock. I don’t think they’re selling enough units yet so maybe worth a shot. Hope that helps answer the question lol
The "Economy" VPS shows recurring since the beginning, it's for the "Saver" VPS that it wasn't clear.
