My experience so far:
The service is very good. I really like the fact that TorBox will continue to seed at least for 24 hours for the essential plan (currently on this plan just to try it out). This will make the torrent "healthy".
UI is amazing and I love the integration that it offers (using it with Stremio now). If you have just completed your first year, I can only expect I'm in for an even better experience going forward.
Speed is fast af boi. No complaint at all here. I also downloaded the dedicated Android app but I think it doesn't do anything different or better than the web app so I uninstalled it after playing around.
You just got yourself a customer and I'm definitely going to share this with my family and friends (share as in introduce the service for them to subscribe, not going to share my account with everyone aren't we
)
@TorBox as I'm on the Essential plan now, what will happen credit/fee/money wise if I upgrade to Standard or Pro?

Our free plan is for exactly that, we want everyone to test out the service completely risk free as we believe our work speaks for itself.
Our Android app is quite old and being put through a complete rehaul alongside our soon-to-release iOS app. For now our PWA enabled site should cover all functionality designed for the mobile experience. Just add a bookmark to your home screen to utilise it.
When you upgrade your plan, your subscription will automatically pro-rate your time to give you additional days on your new plan proportionate to what you had before. I'm aware of a bug that may keep your old plan active even after upgrading which we're pushing a fix out for soon, but if you do see that issue just get in touch and we'll sort it out
Don't forget to share your referral code with your friends and family, you both benefit from free additional time on your subscription.
