I have been reading about this tonight and found it interesting. The cofounder of WordPress has been publicly slamming the host WP Engine. On the surface he is shaming them for abusing open-source software, making millions of dollars off WordPress while hardly contributing to the project. It seems to be very self-serving though, as his company also owns WordPress.com which is a direct competitor for managed WordPress hosting.
